Windy Harbour Farm Hotel is in the heart of Glossopdale Valley on the B6105, at the gateway to the Peak District.

It boasts panoramic views of Derbyshire, including Longdendale and the Snake Pass towards Kinder Scout. Hotel facilities include 2 comfortable lounges, a bar with guest beers, and a restaurant overlooking the garden and countryside. En suite rooms have a flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi and pleasant views.

The Trans Pennine trail, the Pennine Way and the Longdendale are all accessible from a short distance away, making Windy Harbour Farm ideal for a walking or cycling holiday.

Hotel information

A large function room for up to 160 is available for private parties, weddings and celebrations. Clay pigeon shooting can be organised for parties, groups or individual tuition.

There is a camping and caravan site in the hotel grounds.
Food & beverage

Breakfast is served between 07:30 and 09:00, although earlier breakfast can be arranged if you need to leave early. Dinner and Sunday lunches are also available. The restaurant is available for private parties, so prior booking is essential.
Travel information

By Car
From Glossop town centre:
- Take the B6105 for approximately 1.5 miles.
- You will see a large red sign: ‘Windy Harbour Farm Hotel’ and ‘Home of Glossop Rotary’.

From Sheffield (A628):
- Follow the Woodhead Pass (A628) from Penistone.
- The B6105 is on the left-hand side, signposted Glossop.
- Follow it for approximately 5 miles.
- Windy Harbour Farm Hotel is signposted on the right shortly after the turning to Padfield.
